We have created this blog as a way to share our journey to bring home our son Noah home from China and keep everyone updated during the process and while in China.

Yes- we have another son!

When we came home from Ethiopia after adopting Eprham we knew we would adopt again. We held off for a little bit because of a little miracle named Frances. Since then we have gone back and forth about when to start the process again. When we felt we were ready, we did a great deal of searching and debating about where to adopt from- China has a very large population of children in orphanages with special needs and we felt like there were so, so many kids who needed families- Last Tuesday October 28 we were forwarded a file on a little boy and when I saw him I cried because I KNEW this beautiful little boy was our son. We had his file reviewed by our Pediatrician who specializes in international adoption and then we rushed to send in our Letter of Intent (otherwise known as LOI) to our adoption agency and are now waiting for our PA (pre-approval) from China. Adopting from China is a longer process and we are unsure of the timeline at this point. Our next step is to rush to get our paperwork (Dossier) ready to send to China. In the meantime we have Noah's file to read over and over again and a few photos.

A little about Noah- his birthday is August 2, 2007. He is described as being very happy, liking to dance in front of the mirror and being a bit "naughty" sometimes though his caregivers state they when they try to scold him he just smiles and they cant help but kiss him- Sounds like he'll fit right in with Ephram and Frances! So now starts the "paper chase" and the waiting....
We are praying that this process moves quickly so we can bring our little boy home to meet his brother and sister!
