Updates on Noah

Well we got an email from Linda our caseworker at WACAP, we had requested updated photos of Noah since he had his surgery and we got 3 of them today!! He looks so grown up now! Unfortunately I cant post them on the blog yet...per our agency not until we get our Letter of Acceptance from China (still many months away). His lip has definitely had some repairs that look wonderful but he still has more repairs until it is completely closed-I don't know exactly how that works. the update we got says that he would have another surgery 6 months after the first- that would mean around march. I don't know if they are going to finish repairing his lip, repair his palate or both and we probably wont find out for quite some time. Regardless it is so nice to see photos of him closer to his actual age- our first photos he still was a baby, now he looks like a toddler-
On the paperwork end, on Monday we got our I-797C which is a notice telling us that the U.S. citizenship and immigration services national benefits center ( NBC ) got our 1800A form, and soon we will be getting the date for our fingerprint appointments. There is a number on the form that says we can call for an update on our case- I'm going to try to do that tomorrow if I have time.
well that's it! Now I'm off to snapfish to try to get our new photos printed out so we can show the kids.
