Well another thing to check off on our list! We found out that on 8/18 we got our
I800 approved. Yes, it sounds like we did this a long time ago, that was our I800A (petition to adopt an orphan), our I800 is our petition to adopt Noah Zhen Xing. Now a bunch of things happen that require cables being sent, files downloaded, lots of things being signed and sent from one place to the other...Unfortunately unlike the rest of this process that I felt I could explain very well, as many times as I have had this part explained to me, I still get lost. According to our agency they are thinking we will get our travel approval sometime October and travel 1-3 weeks later. I have to say, this process has been hard, very hard. We have known about Noah a LONG time! The last wait for our letter of acceptance was difficult, but already this is the hardest because we are not waiting for a piece of paper that will mark the start of another piece of paper- at the end of this wait we travel to China to meet our son! I'll tell you the stress and anxiety just quadrupled!
More good news is that we are finally getting the room ready! It's still a mess of course but I managed to find a beautiful pottery barn kids quilt on ebay, the room is painted, I've got valances and one shade up (the other never seems to be the right width so we keep getting it re-cut) and a closet FULL of clothes- hopefully they will fit him. They were all Ephram's and he isnt too fond of seeing HIS clothes hanging in someone elses closet!
On the home front we have been very busy, I have lots of photos to share, but quite frankly I am too lazy to download them so it will probably be a HUGE post with loads of photos or 4 posts in one day. I'll do it this weekend though.

congratulations on your I800 approval! what ever that means, I'm with you, its all murky to me. I didn't realize that you were on the conference call until the end of it. It wasn't very helpful to me...I just want to get to China now!
