This is a few days late but with all the festivities this weekend...April 17 our baby girl turned 2!
For those of you who don't know, we never expected to have a child the old fashioned way, in fact Alan didn't believe me when I told him I was pregnant! Frances' birth was very memorable and a wonderful experience and I feel very blessed have such wonderful memories of that day (I actually enjoyed my labor and delivery). Frances is lovingly named after Alan's mom and though it is by no means a popular name, it is the perfect name for our beautiful, loving little bundle of energy. Frances loved her princess themed party on Saturday (I wonder how many more princess-themed parties we will have for her in the future?) and had a wonderful time visiting with family and eating her princess cake! She is already trying to grow up too fast though because when you ask her how old she is now she says "5"! Frances is such a little miracle and we thank God every day to have her in our life!
