Well after a very frustrating few weeks we now have word that our Article 5 or second letter seeking confirmation is signed and on it's way to the CCAA so they can send us our final travel approval. Our caseworker at WACAP said to expect the travel approval in 3-4 weeks, we then leave shortly after (a few weeks) She anticipates we will be leaving end of October, beginning of November.
I havent posted on the above because I've been very stressed. Quite a few people around us who have had all the same dates got their article 5 signed 2 1/2 weeks ago so I've worried that something was wrong. After lots of nagging and yesterday begging our agency to check into it we found out it was signed yesterday.
Now we really need to get started packing and making more lists I've also requested some updates on Noah, measurements, some questions about his eating/bottles related to his cleft and of course a photo or two would be great. I'm not holding my breath though.
I have to say the adoption community is so awesome and I cant even imagine trying to go through this without all the friends I have made online and who I am hoping to meet finally in China. I'm sure Alan is very thankful for them as well...because I know I've been quite stressed and anxious about this.
Hopefully I"ll have some great news soon... in the meantime, it's time to really dig in and get ready to travel!
